PRESIDENTS
Charles "Chuck" Owston, President and Chief Executive Officer of Florida Capital Bank of Central Florida and Chief Operating Officer of Florida Capital Bank, N.A.
Mr. Owston serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Florida Capital Bank, N.A. He is responsible for the operations of our banks around the State of Florida. Additionally he serves as President and CEO of Florida Capital Bank of Central Florida. Mr. Owston established the bank’s operations in the Central Florida market in 2005. Prior to joining Florida Capital Bank in August 2005, Mr. Owston spent 20 years with Wachovia Bank (formerly First Union). During his career with Wachovia Bank, Mr. Owston served in various leadership and business development roles within the Central Florida market. Prior to joining Wachovia Bank, Mr. Owston was a commercial banker with SunTrust Bank in Orlando.
Mr. Owston is active in the community serving as a member of the Junior Achievement of Central Florida Board of Directors. He also is a former Board member of the Greater Orlando Chamber of Commerce and continues to be involved in various community activities within the Central Florida area.
Mr. Owston attended the University of Florida and University of Central Florida. He holds a bachelors degree in finance.
Bart S. Bishop, President and Chief Executive Officer- of Florida
Capital Bank of South Florida
Mr. Bishop is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Florida
Capital Bank of South Florida. He manages the operations of our
banks in Broward and Palm Beach counties. Prior to joining Florida
Capital Bank, he spent nineteen years with Wachovia Bank. He
was most recently the Commercial Bank Director for Wachovia in
Palm Beach and the City Executive for Boca Raton. He has also
served as the Commercial Bank Manager for the Gold Coast, Broward
and Palm Beach Counties as well as various other leadership and
Relationship Management positions during his career with Wachovia,
First Union and Southeast Bank. He has spent the last seven years
in South Florida and the previous twelve years in the Central
Florida Market. He is a native Floridian from Miami, Florida.
Mr.
Bishop is active in the community serving on The Board of Directors
of the Boca Raton Chamber
of Commerce and The Board
of Directors for The Centre for the Arts at Mizner Park. He serves
on the Boca Raton Community Hospital Foundation Board and is
on the Executive and Investment Committees as well as various
sub committees. He serves on the Board of the Optimist Foundation
of Boca Raton. In addition, he was nominated for the 2003 South
Florida Leading Man Award, sponsored by Cystic Fibrosis based
on Business, Charitable Involvement, Leadership and the individual’s
positive impact on the community.
Mr. Bishop is a graduate of Stetson University in Deland, Florida,
where he received a degree in Business Administration.
Wade H. Faircloth, President and Chief Executive
Officer - of Florida Capital Bank of Tampa
Mr.
Wade H. Faircloth serves as President and Chief Executive Officer
of Florida Capital Bank of Tampa. He
is responsible for
the operations of the Hillsborough County bank. Prior to joining
Florida Capital Bank in August 2005, Mr. Faircloth served as
Executive Vice President for Mercantile Bank’s Tampa
Region overseeing the banks commercial lending activities. He
has over 16 years of banking experience and has also been employed
by Florida Bank, SouthTrust Bank and First Florida Bank.
Mr. Faircloth serves as a Director for Neighborhood Housing
Partners (a low income loan consortium offering financing for
affordable housing projects).
Mr. Faircloth graduated from the University of Florida where
he received his bachelors degree in Finance.
Daniel (Dan) T. Hester, President and Chief Executive
Officer-of Florida Capital Bank of Pinellas and Pasco Counties.
Mr. Hester serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer
of Florida Capital Bank of Pinellas and Pasco Counties. Mr. Hester
brings over 27 years of banking experience to Florida Capital
Bank. Prior to joining Florida Capital Bank, he was employed
with Mercantile Bank as an Executive Vice President in charge
of the Commercial Banking Division in the Tampa Region. Mr.
Hester also held senior level positions with Barnett Bank of
Pinellas County and Bank of America where he managed 16 western
states in the National Accounts Group for their Dealer Financial
Services Division.
Mr. Hester is involved in his community where he currently serves
the residents of the City of Seminole as an elected official
serving on their city council. Mr. Hester has also served on
the Board of Directors for the Society for the Prevention of
Cruelty to Animals. In addition Mr. Hester belongs to the Seminole
Chamber of Commerce and has served in various capacities with
March of Dimes, United Way, Big Brothers and Big Sisters and
PARC.
Mr. Hester received a Bachelors degree from the University
of Pittsburgh and is a graduate of The Stonier Graduate School
of Banking at the University of Delaware.
Cecil M. (Mac) Holley, President and Chief Executive Officer-
of Florida Capital Bank of Northeast Florida
Mr.
Holley serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer
of Florida Capital Bank of Northeast Florida. He manages the
operations of our banks in Duval, St. Johns, Nassau and Clay
counties. Prior to joining our company, he was employed with
Bank of America as President, Northeast Florida and Senior
Vice President Middle Market Banking covering northeast Florida
and South Georgia. During that time he achieved Six Sigma Greenbelt
certification. He joined Bank of America after it acquired
Barnett Banks, where he managed corporate banking in Pinellas
County, Florida (1995-1999) after spending seven years in Barnett’s
U.S. banking division. He began his career at Southeast Bank
in Miami, Florida in 1983. Mr. Holley received a Bachelor degree
in Corporate Finance from the University of Alabama.
Mr. Holley
is also committed to serving the community and has active involvement
in the Baptist Health Foundation
Board; Jacksonville
Regional Chamber of Commerce Trustee; University of North Florida
Foundation - Executive Board and YMCA of Florida’s First
Coast- Metropolitan Board. He served as Chairman of Cornerstone
in 2003 (Jacksonville Chamber's Economic Development organization).
He was appointed in 2002 by Jacksonville Mayor Delaney to chair
the Preservation Project, and appointed in 2003 by Mayor Peyton
to chair the Blue Ribbon Commission (Mayor's transition subcommittee
for financing efficiency).
Past community involvement includes serving as a board member
for The Alliance for World Class Education, and the Local Initiatives
Support Corporation (LISC- community redevelopment organization).
Robert
S. Johnson, President and Chief Executive Officer –
of Florida Capital Bank of Gainesville
Mr. Johnson is the President and Chief Executive Officer
of Florida Capital Bank of Gainesville. Prior to joining
Florida Capital
Bank, he spent four years as a Commercial Relationship Manager
with Florida Bank of Alachua County. He has also held several
Commercial Relationship Management positions during his career
with both SunTrust and First Union. In 1999, Mr. Johnson was
named the top Commercial Relationship Manager for SunTrust. A
native Floridian, Mr. Johnson received his degree in Finance
and Real Estate from the University of Florida.
Mr. Johnson is active in the community serving as the current
Board President for the Neighborhood Housing and Development
Corporation, a non-profit affordable housing provider. In addition,
Mr. Johnson is the past Board President for Crime Stoppers of
Alachua County. Mr. Johnson has also served the community in
various capacities with the Alachua County Chamber of Commerce,
March of Dimes and the YMCA
Cynthia A. Ramirez, President and Chief Executive
Officer -- of Florida Capital Bank of Volusia and Flagler Counties
Mrs.
Ramirez is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Florida
Capital Bank of Volusia
and Flagler Counties. Prior to
joining our company, she was employed by Bank of America as Market
President of Volusia, Flagler & Putnam Counties. She also
was a Senior Client Manager for Bank of America's Middle Market
Banking team covering 10 Central Florida counties. She began
her banking career in 1988 with Barnett Bank, a predecessor to
Bank of America. A Volusia County native, Mrs. Ramirez received
her Bachelor of Business Administration in management and Master
of Business Administration degrees from Stetson University in
DeLand, FL.
Mrs.
Ramirez is very active in the local community serving on a
variety of not for profit
boards. She is the 2005-06 President
of Futures, Inc., the Education Foundation for Volusia County
Schools and has served as chairman of the Volusia County Take
Stock In Children Program. She's a member of the Ormond Beach
Kiwanis Club, Halifax Business & Professional Women's Club
and Daytona Beach Leadership Council. She received the Marvin
Samuels Leadership Award in 2004 from the Halifax/Daytona Chamber
of Commerce. She also serves on the advisory boards of the School
of Arts & Sciences at Stetson University and Whitney Laboratory
for Marine Bioscience at the University of Florida.
